Kilmarnock came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Celtic. It is, of course, the second time Killie have got the better of Brendan Rodgers' side this season, and the first time they've defeated the Hoops twice at Rugby Park since the club's title-winning season in 1964/65.

Killie fans breathed a sigh of relief when Brad Lyons, Liam Donnelly and Rory McKenzie were all passed fit to play, despite injury concerns. Liam Polworth and Matty Kennedy came in to start. Liel Abada started for the visitors although he was a doubt.

The game started fairly evenly, with both sides having chances. Will Dennis was forced into several early saves, denying Matt O'Riley and Oh. Killie, however, had the two guilt-edged chances with Danny Armstrong hitting the frame of the goal and Corrie Ndaba's effort being cleared off the line by Alistair Johnston.

The visitors broke the deadlock after 33 minutes after Dennis beat Callum McGregor's shot away. However, O'Riley was on hand to tap home the rebound.

Despite Celtic having the lead, Kilmarnock had a strong first half, albeit Derek McInnes gave the team 'a rocket' at the interval. That harsh team talk appeared to work a treat as Killie had a superb second half.

The home side created numerous chances in the second period, and this eventually paid off. With 15 minutes to go, Brad Lyons puts a teasing ball into the box. This causes a mix-up in the Celtic defence, causing Nat Phillips to divert the ball past Joe Hart and into his own net to draw Killie level.

Killie weren't satisfied with a point though. They wanted more, having brought on Marley Watkins to partner Kyle Vassell up front. Killie created chance after chance, and with three minutes of the 90 remaining, Matty Kennedy scored his first goal for the club.

This result leaves Killie in fifth place, only three points off St Mirren in third. McInnes will fancy his chances with a trip to Livingston next weekend and St Johnstone coming to Rugby Park before Christmas.
